HELSTON will be hoping to derail St Just's ECB Premier League title ambitions when they travel to Cape Road tomorrow.
After a rain-interrupted Saturday last weekend, the forecast is brighter for tomorrow and it promises to be a cracker between the second and third-placed teams.
Dan Jenkin's men have been the surprise package in the top division this season and victory at St Just would propel them into the thick of the title race.
They are 28 points behind leaders Truro, however, meaning that defeat against Gareth May's men would all but end their challenge with six games to play.
Falmouth's recent upturn in form will be severely tested at home to Penzance, who have former players Antony Angove and Christian Purchase among their ranks.
In other matches, the bottom two battle it out on the north coast where Newquay entertain Redruth, there is a mid-Cornwall derby between St Austell and Grampound Road, while Truro host champions Werrington.
On Sunday, Cornwall begin their crucial Unicorns Counties Championship match against Berkshire at Grampound Road (11am).
The Duchy currently top the table with two matches to go, but are just a point ahead of Sunday's opponents. Third-placed Shropshire are also in contention, eight points off the lead.
