ANDREW Westgarth is a happy man this week after watching his Falmouth Town side demolish two of the early-season pacesetters in four days.

After ending Godolphin’s 100 per cent record in SWPL Premier with a 3-0 win in Newquay last week, Town ended Plymouth Argyle’s unbeaten start with a 4-1 victory at Bickland Park on Saturday.

“The boys are full of confidence at the moment. The games have come thick and fast at the start of the season so we’ve been able to carry the momentum from one game to the next,” said Westgarth.

Town arguably face their toughest task of the season so far when they visit champions Bodmin Town on Saturday.

“We’re a new team and Bodmin have achieved so much in the last few years, so we’ll still be massive underdogs. Hopefully though, with the start that we’ve had it’ll give teams reason to think about us a bit.”

Ryan Barnes and Ross Pope both return to the squad after missing Saturday’s match and Westgarth hopes to travel to Priory Park with a full strength squad.
