Packet Predictor: Sports editor Matt Dixon calls the scores from the weekend's top action

Rugby

Penryn v Falmouth: Both teams are in excellent, try-scoring form so the temptation would be to go for a high-scoring classic. However, with so much at stake, I expect it to be more cagey than that, with Penryn using home advantage to sneak a win.

Penryn 17, Falmouth 14

Falmouth Town v Tavistock: Town are piecing together a fine run of victories but Tavistock, the league's top goalscorers, will be a different proposition to the likes of Camelford and Witheridge. Expect goals, not all of them to the home side, in what should be a cracker.

Falmouth Town 2, Tavistock 3

Newquay v Helston: Huge for Helston, this. Defeat against a side that has won just one of their 22 league games could see their season come apart at the seams, particularly with tough away games at Saltash and Plymouth Parkway to follow. And without leading goalscorers Matt Buchan and Matt Drummond, it's going to be far from easy.

Newquay 1, Helston Athletic 2

Mousehole v Penryn: Penryn don't do close. They tend to dish out hammerings and occasionally suffer them and with much of Mousehole's squad merrily marching into Penzance this week, I spy another goal-fest on the horizon for Paul Murray's men.

Mousehole 0, Penryn 4

Wendron United v Millbrook Millbrook have been in fine form and could well finish in the top six this season. Wendron have stabilised their poor run with two draws and have missed a glut of chances in doing so. I'm backing them to convert a few of them on Saturday.

Wendron Utd 3, Millbrook 2
