PORTHLEVEN'S season has finished prematurely with the news that Vospers Oak Villa are unable to raise a side for their SWPL Division 1 West trip to Gala Parc tomorrow night.
The match will be awarded as a home win to Porthleven and the Devon side will be deducted three points and fined.
Vospers OV must also ensure the fine and the compensation due to Porthleven for the earlier non-appearance must be paid before they are able to join another competition.
They had to abandon their trip last month after an accident on the A30 saw them stuck in traffic for several hours.
