On Sunday the second Cornwall T20 Big Bash takes place at St Clare from 10am.

The best cricketers from across the county will feature again in four geographical teams - Duchy Dynamite, Kernow Superkings, Penwith Pirates and holders Tamar Tigers.

Scott Harvey (Truro), Peter Howells (Redruth), Brad Wadlan (Penzance) and Adam Hodgson (Werrington) are skippering the teams.

Entry for a great day for all the family is £3 with children free. The final is from 4.30pm.

There will be food stalls, licensed bar, music, bouncy castle, face painting, youngsters cricket coaching and lots more.

Then on Wednesday the famous Lashings All Stars come to St Clare to play a Penzance, Hayle & Ludgvan XI at 4pm.

Gates open at 11am with free cricket coaching for youngsters between 11am and 12pm.

The Lashings squad include Tino Best, Monty Panesar and Gordon Greenidge amongst many other famous international stars. Day entrance is £5, children £2.
