Gale force winds, driving rain and the most demanding conditions faced a large field of players at Mullion who played 36 holes this weekend to contest the Club Championship.
With many players returning a "No Return" score, this reflected the toughest challenge on the Towans especially on the second day.
Despite this, Alex McHugh was a clear winner as the new Club Champion, with Russell Weetch winning the Nicholls Cup (handicap).
