Tim Nixon has become the latest player to join Falmouth Town this season, writes George Fortey.

The 24-year-old, an experienced winger with an eye for goal, has transferred from Bodmin.

Nixon has had a difficult season with the North Cornwall side after suffering from injury, but he is keen to get started at his new club.

“I’m really looking forward to the challenges ahead. I believe there is something good going down at Falmouth and I can’t wait to be a part of it.”

Nixon already has a great relationship with most of the team as he played alongside many of them whilst at Truro College.

Town manager Andrew Westgarth believes that he will bring extra pace and creativity to the team and hopes he can call upon his experience as the season goes on.

“We have a lot of boys out playing in county youth games and with lots of fixtures piling up its important to get Tim in, to bring extra strength in depth to the squad,” said the Falmouth boss.

Falmouth Town have had a terrific season so far and fans hope that the new addition can help continue their good form heading into the business end of the season.
