After an absence of 76 days without a match the Lizard Argyle under-18s were finally in action again on Sunday when they welcomed Rosudgeon to Beacon Terrace.

Blaming the weather entirely for their lack of football, the home side dominated the game and were three goals to the good by half time.

Five more goals followed in the second half sealing a well deserved 8-0 victory for the Lizard boys.

The goals were scored by Jack Price (3) Tom Giles (2) Harry Bray (1) Jack Edwards (1) and Captain Yeshe Briar (1).

Manager Johnny Bray was delighted with his team's performance adding that the although the scoreline was fantastic, the Rosudgeon team never gave up throughout.

After narrowly losing out away to Penzance last weekend, Culdrose Lynx under-14s welcomed the same team back to the Sports Pavilions a week later for the return fixture.

Five superbly taken goals deservedly sealed the points for the Lynx with all of the goals coming in the second half of the match. Kieran Ludkin (2), Kai Hemsley (1), Aidan Hunkin (1) and Niall Wilkinson (1) were the goalscorers. A great all round team performance.
