Penryn RFC have arranged a three-game pre-season friendly schedule, all against higher division opposition.
The three matches will see The Borough take on two sides from South West One West - two divisions above the Cornwall/Devon League, and one Western Counties West side.
The pre-season campaign will get underway on Thursday, August 16 when South West One West new boys St. Ives will visit The Memorial Ground for a game which will kick off at 7pm.
This game will be a repeat of last season's first pre-season friendly which ended up being a tight battle against a 'Hakes' outfit who would go on to win the Western Counties league.
The following Tuesday, August 21 will see Penryn travel to St. Clement's Hill to take on local rivals Truro, from Western Counties West in another 7pm kick-off.
The final pre-season friendly will take place on Saturday, August 25 at Polson Bridge where Launceston will host Penryn.
The Cornish All Blacks finished third in South West One West last season and will be aiming to return to South West Premier rugby. This match will kick-off at 3pm.
