Falmouth Hockey Club held their AGM and Awards evening at The New Inn, Mabe on Friday evening.

The first team enjoyed a superb season in 2017/18, winning the South Division title and securing promotion to Premier 2B, and reaching the County Cup final.

The seconds achieved a seventh-place finish in the Trelawny Division 1.

Laura Heather won Player of the Year while Faye Ivall won Coach's Player. Amy Shaw took home the Most Improved award while Tatum Godwin won the Endeavour award.

Evie Roberts won Junior Player and Danyelle Fry won the Club Member award.

Nic Hinton won first team Players' Player, Clare Hudson won Highest Goalscorer while the Captain's Player award went to Natalie Oliver.

Evie Roberts was named second team Players' Player, Alice Bowman was Highest Goalscorer and Captain's Player was Katie Humphries.

Officers elected included: President Chris Jackson, Chair Amy Bucknole, Secretary Rachel Medd, Treasurer Rachael Tatlow, Fixtures Secretary Jeanette Coleman, Welfare Officer Cathy Brokenshire, 1st team Captain Megan Cookson, 2nd Team Captain Suzanne Bull, Badgers Captain Marain Haynes.
