NEWLY-PROMOTED Probus began life in Division 1 with a 3-1 win over Threemilestone on Saturday, while Rosudgeon beat Probus’ fellow promoted club Newlyn Lions by the same score.
Lanner, who won just twice last season but earned a reprieve from relegation, also got off to a winning start after beating Hayle Reserves 2-1.
Elsewhere, Perranporth Reserves beat St Keverne 1-0.
Frogpool & Cusgarne defeat promoted side Falmouth DC 6-2 in Division 2, while Ruan Minor, also newly-promoted, won 4-3 at Illogan thirds. Another promoted club New Inn Titans drew 3-3 at home to Gwinear Churchtown.
The two games played in Division 3 featured some 25 goals, with St Agnes thirds beating relegated Storm 11-5.
Perranwell Reserves, promoted from Division 4, beat Rosudgeon Reserves 7-2 in the other match.
Threemilestone Reserves visited Marazion in a clash between tow reformed teams in Division 4, with the away side running out 4-1 winners.
Chacewater, also reformed, won 5-0 at home to Hayle thirds.
The Premier Division season is due to kick off tonight with Penryn Athletic Reserves taking on newly-promoted Penwith Exiles at Kernick (kick-off 6.30pm)
Mousehole Reserves are due to host Troon tomorrow night (kick-off 6.30pm).
