Other results in the division have also gone Truro's way as third place Cambridge have lost 2-0 away at Banbury and Chesham have been beaten 3-2 at Cirencester. A total of 744 fans saw the game tonight a Treyew Road - around double the normal gate.

00:95 FULL TIME: 1-1 What a result for City. It looked to have slipped through their fingers but that late Marcus Martin penalty salvages a point for the home side and sees them maintain their healthy lead at the top of the league. Both sides played some decent football, but the game will be remembered for dreadful weather conditions and a last gasp equaliser rather than any footballing prowess.

00:94 A huge goal kick is headed for a Salisbury corner by Danny Clay. Surely not...

00:91 GOAL TRURO! And it's Martin who steps up to take it. The keeper guesses the right way and gets a hand to it, but it's not enough. Truro level the game in dramatic circumstances. Turley committed the foul. 1-1, but it's not over yet!

00:90 PENALTY TRURO! Pugh nods the ball to Halyes, who nods it on to Watkins who turns his marker, but is fouled. Amazing end to the game here. Martin to take the penalty.

00:89 Martin fashions a yard of space wide on the right and whips a cross in, but it's just too high for Watkins. Truro are really pressing now. Afful is fouled wide on the right, does this game have a final twist in the tail?

00:87 Hayles cuts inside and surges into the box. He thumps a low ball across goal but it's cleared. Good spell for Truro, but has it come too late?

00:85 Jack Reed - who has caused Truro problems all evening - chases a long ball over the top. Rice rushes out of his goal to clear. It's all gone a bit scrappy.

00:80 Ten minutes left and although Truro have managed to get forward more in the last ten minutes, you feel they're struggling not only against a resolute Salisbury defence but also against the swirling wind. Still 1-0.

00:79 Marcus Martin comes on for Andy Taylor.

00:77 Collier is booked for what loked like an innocuous challenge on Afful. A little harsh to be honest.

00:74 Things getting a little bit bad tempered as another free kick is awarded to City wide on the right. Salisbury seeing plenty of the ball now.

00:72 The referee gives Salisbury a corner under protests from City players. Rice has nothing to worry about this time around as it goes straight out.

00:69 Hayles and Afful come on for Smith and Yetton. Straight swap for City.

00:64 SALISBURY GOAL. Rice has to claw the ball out from behind him after a corner is whipped in from Casey. Then moments later he's picking it out of the back of the net. Another corner from Casey sees the ball swirl wickedly in the wind and Rice can't keep it out, 1-0 Salisbury.

00:63 Dan Smith, covered from head to toe in mud, wins a free kick out wide on the left. Taylor fizzes the ball in to Yetton who turns his marker and crosses. Watts forces a decent save from Smith.

00:60 Casey has just come on for Salisbury, and Yetton welcomes him to the game with a scissoring tackle from behind. Yellow card for the City striker.

00:58 A beautiful flowing Truro passing move sees Barry McConnell freed out wide and in acres of space. He tries to get a cross in early but it's poor and goes out for a goal kick. Great play from City, but a shame about the end product; McConnell could have taken another five yards and made sure.

00:55 Wind working in City's favour there. A hopeful through ball and the wind has the ball hanging in the air, giving Smith a sniff at latching on to it, but the keeper's there first.

00:52 Good spell of pressure from Salisbury. the weather isn't helping Truro's cause, but then the visitors suffered in much the same way during the first half.

00:51 Rice is already struggling in the wind. A clearance barely gains any ground whatsover and the ball goes out for a Salisbury throw. Cleared by City.

00:49 Taylor releases Smith who scampers down the wing before whipping in a great cross that just eludes Watkins. Yetton rushing in at the back post can't get his header on target. Bright start City.

00:47 Barry McConnell marshalls the ball out for a goal kick under pressure. No changes at half time from either side.

00:46 Second half underway here at Treyew Road. Score remains 0-0

Salisbury player-manager Darrell Clarke has his players out early doing some warm-up exercises before the start of the second half. Not a bad idea considering how cold and wet it is - keep those legs warm. Truro might find their job a little more difficult in the second half. They'll be shooting towards the clubhouse end into the wind. It remains to be seen just how costly City's failure to score in the first half will be. And the teams are out.

Here are those teams as promised TRURO: Rice; McConnell, Watts, Pugh, Adams, Clay, Broad, Taylor, Watkins, Smith, Yetton.

SALISBURY: Smith; Turley, Dutton, Giles, Brett, Kelly, Clarke, Knight, Fitchett, Reid, Collier.

00:50 HALF TIME: 0-0 And the only winner here at Treyew Road so far has been the weather: howling wind and black sheets of rain causing chaos for both sides. Truro will be the happier side going in to the break. They've looked the side more likely to score, with Yetton having his shot cleared off the line and Broad hitting the bar early on, but Salisbury have certainly had their moments and look dangerous on the break, with Adam Kelly and Chris Giles both getting forward well.

00:47 Stewart Yetton latches on to yet another arcing through-ball before dinking it around the keeper. Salisbury have defenders back but they're almost caught ball-watching as Yetton tries to nick it off their toes. Finally cleared.

00:45 Martin Rice hits a wind-assisted goal kick that takes one bounce before going out. Weather is proving a nightamre for both sides at the moment.

00:40 'Flyaways' we used to call them. Those cheap plastic footballs you'd get from the supermarket to take to the beach. Well both keepers here must feel like they're playing with one, as the wind gets hold of every goal kick and clearance and sends the ball backwards.

00:36 So close for Truro. Andy Taylor hits a hopeful ball forward and Yetton's turn loses the Salisbury centre-back. He takes an early shot that fizzes across the face of goal but Jamie Turley gets a leg to it just in front of the on-rushing Watkins. First clear-cut chance for either side.

00:27 Salisbury having a spell of possession at the moment. Some incisve passing, but no end product - story of the first half so far. Andy Watkins goes down under a challenge from Chris Giles and the ball is rifled into the box. Smith gets a glancing header in but it drifts just wide of the near post.

00:22 Adam Kelly gives Aaron Pugh a nudge in the back as he tries to get on the end of a cross. Both sides looking evenly matched at the moment, though City seem to have more cut and thrust about their forward play.

00:20 Dan Smith lunges in on Darrel Clarke and earns himself a yellow card. He can't complain. I believe they call that a striker's tackle.

00:18 City stringing together some lovely passing moves here. Watkins and Smith finding space and Yetton holding the ball up well. Salisbury look dangerous on the break. They have pace in the side - particularly in midfielder Adam Kelly.

00:16 Yetton manages to put enough pressure on three Salisbury defenders to force them to put the ball out for a corner. Good work from the City front man. From the corner Joe Broad stoops to get his head on the ball but he doesn't connect properly and Salisbury clear the danger.

00:14 Dutton has a tug at Dan Smith in the box, but Truro's claims for a penalty are muted. Don't think anyone expected the ref to give that.

00:13 Some neat passing from Truro in the visitor's half, but the killer ball has been lacking so far. Watkins and Smith have both started well.

00:12 Andy Watkins latches on to a lofted through ball, but his first touch is poor and it's out of play for a goal kick.

00:08 Joe Broad hits the bar with a blistering drive from just outside the box. Moments earlier Salisbury managed to release Darrel Clarke, but his first touch let him down inside the box. Both sides starting at pace here.

00:06 And the wind's really getting up here. Salisbury keeper Tommy Smith with a clearance that hangs in the air before going backwards.

00:04 Oof! Danny Clay with a thundering tackle on Wycombe loanee Dan Fitchett. Ball won cleanly though. Truro's midfield making their presence felt early.

00:02 Rain starting to lash down here. Bright start by Truro. Smith squaring a ball for Yetton on the edge of the box, but his dinked cross goes long

00:00 And we're off, with Salisbury shooting towards the clubhouse end. Strong wind blowing - may cause both keepers a spot of bother.

We'll bring you lineups for both sides at half time, suffice to say that Truro field an unchanged side from the team that comprehensively dispatched Didcot on Saturday. Marcus Martin takes his place on the bench alongside Barry Hayles.

Shaping up to be a record crowd for the season so far, and they're still pouring through tha gates. Brave souls.
