00:94 FULL TIME! And that's it! Bedford take the spoils as Truro go down to a single goal from a Martin Rice error late in the first half. It's worrying times for Truro as the aura of invincibility they cultivated earlier in the season seems to have ebbed away. Manager Lee Hodges will look to rebuild some of the confidence they evidently lack at the moment, and on this evidence Andy Watkins' return can't come soon enough. That's it from me here at Treyew Road, look for a full match report in Wednesdays Packet. Thanks for joining us and see you next time!

00:91 A flurry of corners for City now, and even Rice comes up, but they come to nothing and surely that must be it now as the ref looks at his watch.

00:89 Seconds later Yetton misses a free header after great work from Hayles releases Afful. the diminutive striker races to the byline and whips in a cross that has the Bedford backline beaten, but Yetton, rushing in, can't keep his header down with the goal at his mercy. Is that it for City?

00:89 Richardson, with feet like 50p pieces, sends the ball out for a corner. Watts drifts a cross in to the back post which Aaran Pugh heds straight down Brown's throat.

00:85 Bedford substitution: Jermaine Ivy comes off for Nat Peacock.

00:81 Bedford playing for time now as Ivy takes the ball into the corner. This will be a real result for the visitors if they can hold on.

00:79 Afful scampers after a long ball from McConnell and rounds the keeper, but the angle is too acute for a shot and instead he has to square it for Hayles, whose shot is blocked.

00:76 Watts sends another free kick into orbit from a good position. Delivery from set pieces hasn't been the best for city today, and Bedford's back four have comfortably handled what little aerial threat the home side posess.

00:75 Hayles does well to get the byline and pull the ball back for the onrushing Taylor, but the city man, rather than take a first time shot, looks for a couple of extra touches before seeing his shot drift wide. A good chance goes begging for City!

00:70 The situation is looking increasingly dire for Truro, and yet there still seems to be a complete lack of urgency in their game. Afful and Hayles are full of hustle up front, but yet another languid ball forward comes straight back off the head of giant centre back Hoyte and City have to start all over again. Frustration beginning to show as City continue to labour.

00:64 City win another free kick after Yetton is dragged back 25 yards out. Watts stands over the free kick, but yet agin it's blasted into the wall and Bedford clear. Moments later another long ball goes out off a Bedford head for a corner, but it comes to nothing.

00:62 The general consensus here in the stands is that snoods are fine to wear, providing you're between 5 and 10 years old. So that's that argument put to bed. City look to be making a change as Ash comes on for Adams. Truro are playing three at the back now.

00:61 The besnooded (which admittedly may not be a word) Emmanuel Richardson takes a shot from wide on the right that Rice sees sail over his bar. Moments later Yetton goes close after a goal mouth scramble. He'll be kicking himself not to have done better with that - the ball sat up nicely for the City talisman.

00:60 All gone a bit flat again - not that's it's been particularly exciting at the best of times thus far. Les Afful takes a hopeful shot from 25 yards out, but it's a daisy cutter, and a tame one at that. Brown shepards it wide.

00:58 Aaran Pugh with a beautifully timed tackle to nick the ball from the feet of the onrushing Jermaine Ivy. The Bedford bench are claiming a penalty, but the ref waves their protests away. Sterling defending from Pugh.

00:58 It's all gone a bit scrappy and faffy here. Lots of high, hopeful balls being punted forward by City, very few passes to feet and Bedford's back four remaining stubbornly resolute. another city corner though. Taylor takes it and it drifts straight in .The ref blows for a foul on the keeper.

00:48 Taylor chips a ball in to Stewart Yetton, who reaces to the byline and tries to square it. Bedford defender Hoyte slides in and put the ball into the side netting. The City corner comes to nothing. Bright start to the second half by the home side.

00:46 No sooner have I told you lot the wind has died down and it starts blowing a hurricane. City with an early corner that Bedford clear. Neither side have made any changes at half time...another City corner.

Right then, let's see how the second half pans out as the teams make their way back out. The wind's died down a bit, and the rain's stopped. City will have to dig dedep here if they're to avoid another banana skin in their quest for promotion.

So half time and what to say? The game's been as drab and dreary as the weather, with both sides stubborn in defence and lacking ideas in attack. Les Afful has shown some nice touches, and strike partner Barry Hayles has caused problems for Bedford's back four, but there's just not been an end product. In defence, Adams and Pugh have looked out of sorts and Bedford wingers Daniel and Cole have looked to exploit that indecision at every opportunity. The good news for City is, things can only get better after the restart.

00:46 Great save, Ian Brown! In contast to the error at the opposite end, Bedford keeper Ian Brown makes a top class save from a Martin Watts 25 yard screamer. The referee blows for half time and City can surely exepct the hairdryer treatment from manager Lee Hodges during the break.

00:40 Well, what can you say about that? Martin Rice has gifted Bedford a goal with a howler of titanic proportions. What looks like an innocuous pass back from Adams to his keeper is fouled up in spectacular fashion by Rice who scuffs his clearance into the path of Bedford striker, Jermaine Ivy. Ivy pounces on the loose ball and slots home the simplest of finishes. Bedford one up agains the run of play!

00:40 GOAL BEDFORD!

00:37 Jamie Cole sends a long free kick to the back post for Bedford, but it beats everyone and goes out for a goal kick. The visitors are busy in midfield, but seem a little toothless in attack thus far.

00:34 And the wind's really picking up here; it's lashing the trees around the ground and sending great slabs of rain down in bursts. Truro still just about having the better of the play but failing to fashion many clear cut chances.

00:30 Bedford have certainly got a flyer in Craig Daniel on the right wing. He twists and turns Martin Watts before cutting inside and taking left footed shot which Rice gets down well to save. Daniel's left foot looks a little suspect though, and I'm guessing Watts will be happy to show him inside at every opportunity.

00:27 Yetton wins a free kcik just outside the box, but Watts blasts it into the wall. From the throw, Hayles once again spins his marker and fires a wicked shot that looks to be heading in to the bottom corner, but drifts just wide.

00:25 Ooooh! Martin Watts very nearly atones for his earlier, wayward free kick as he spanks a shot from 30 yards out that miss the top corner by inches; then seconds later Barry Hayles takes a pop on the volly from just inside the box and goes even closer. City pressing hard now.

00:21 Yetton goes down under a hefty challenge from man-mountain Gavin Hoyte. He looks like he might be hurt, but seconds later he's up and trotting off the pitch. Hoyte's a good foot taller than Yetton.

00:19 Barry Hayles, playing on the shoulder of his marker, Stupple, turns and races clear down the left. He checks inside his defender before lofting a cross into the box, but it beats everyone and Brown collects. Nice play from Hayles.

00:17 And as though in response, Bedford midfielder Jamie Cole spanks a shot from 25 yards that only just fizzes wide.

00:14 I must confess, for all Truro's endeavour, it's a bit flat so far, with Afuul's run the only really incident of note. Joe Broad releases Yetton with a beautifully weighted ball hit with the outside of his foot, but the City striker fluffs his first touch and Bedford clear.

00:12 I think they'll be picking that off Sainsbury's roof down the road. Watts takes a ten yard run up only to batter it fifteen feet over the bar. A little wasteful perhaps. the home side are beginning to impose themselves on the game.

00:12 A bit of afters there as Afful's brought down by Wall just outside the box. Free kick City, as Watts stands over it.

00:10 And Afful's away like a greyhound, dinking the ball past Wall and easily beating him for pace to collect, he races into the box but his effot sails over. Great individual play there.

00:09 Thundering volley from Marcus Martin who pounced on a loose ball, the captain storming past two ball-watching Bedford defenders to get his shot in - Brown makes a decent save.

00:06 Yetton with a decent attempt well saved by Brown. The ball was drifted in to the near post by Taylor, but Brown got down low to save well from Yetton's glancing header.

00:03 Both sides testing the water so far with no chances falling either way. Les Afful skips past a couple of Bedford defenders and squares the ball for Hayles, but he can't get to it. Corner kick Truro, but it comes to nothing.

00:01 And we're off, with Bedford in Maroon attacking the club house end.

It's a real stinker here at Treyew Road today. As the teams head out the wind and rain are swirling around the ground - it's going to make life more than a little interesting for both keepers that's for sure. Truro will be hoping to keep the pressure up on Salisbury at the top of the table after a recent tricky spell has seen them drop points. Today's visitors will be looking to defy their league position and put in a good performance against what on paper should be superior opponents. We're all set for the off!
