Ivybridge Town are through to the semi-finals of the Throgmorton Cup after they beat CSWPL premier division leaders Buckland Athletic 3-2 after extra-time.
Ivyrbidge started the better of the two teams and had plenty of chances to go in front during a goal-less first-half.
They were better side early in the second half as well and deservedly took the lead when Joe Truelove played in Dennis Mason, who sent a shot into the far corner of the goal.
Ivybridge doubled their advanatage moments later when Truelove supplied a pass for Dean Smith to get on the scoresheet.
However, two late goals from Buckland got them back on level terms and sent the tie into extra-time.
However, Truelove provided his third assist of the match as he played in strike partner Sam Stevens to shoot the ball into the roof of the net for 3-2. Ivybridge will face Plymouth Parkway at the Kimberley Stadium, Saltash on Wednesday, March 30.
