I can't see a thing from where I am in the press area, so I'm going to head down and join the crowd for the presentation ceremony. I'll bid you all adieu, and hope to see everyone join us for live coverage from the Blue Square South next season!

And that's that! Fans stream onto the pitch in the evening sunshine with chants of 'Championi! Championi!

A remarkable end to a remarkable season. Hodges asked his boys for seven wins from the last seven games, and that's exactly what he got. Weymouth played their part today, they had a decent stab at it, but even at a canter Truro had far too much quality for them.

FULL TIME - TRURO WIN 3-2

00:90 Oooh, Stewart Yetton, who is absolutely completely and utterly desperate for a goal, almost gets his wish as he spanks a shot from 25 yards out which sails just over. We're into time addded on for stoppages now, and Weymouth look doomed.

00:87 Weymouth look utterly bereft. They're trying to gee themselves up for the last crucial couple of minutes, but there's no escaping what the result will mean should it stay this way.

Substitute Joe Broad breaks Weymouth hearts with a daisy cutter from just inside the box into the bottom corner. Afful nodded the ball down into his path for the assist. That goal could see Weymouth crash out of the league and you can see the gravity of it etched into the faces of the men in purple as we kick off again.

00:84 GOAL TRURO!

00:76 Weymouth go close! Sub George Rogers has a pop from just outside the six yard box after Byerley's mazy dribble inside the box bamboozled Adams and Pugh. A let off for City, who seem to have taken their foot off the gas here.

00:70 A little over-exuberant from Stewart Yetton, who chases a long ball and crashes into Nortie. The keeper goes down in a heap, but the ref deems it a fair challenge. I've seen them given, it has to be said.

00:66 Lee Smith has a speculative pop at goal from distance, but it's deflected out for a corner. It comes to nothing and Truro break quickly with Afful.

00:63 Weymouth are really up for this, but City go close with a Jake Ash shot from range. Nortei looked to have it covered.

00:62 Andy Watkins is on, too. He's replaced Andrew Taylor. City look to be playing 4-3-3 now.

00:61 Tribe comes off for Lewis Clarke and Barry Hayles makes way for fan's favourite, Stewart Yetton .The veteran striker leaves the pitch to rapturous applause. Hopefully we'll be seeing more of him in the Blue Square South next season. Yetton thumps a long range shot just wide momnets after his introduction.

00:59 Joe Broad muscles his way past Tribe and suddenyl he's in on goal. He unselfishly squares it for Afful who's in acres of space, but he mistimes his shot terribly and ends up on his backside. Taylor latches on to the loose ball, but he blasts his shot over.

00:58 Another Truro corner comes to nothing. Apparently it was a Barry McConnell own-goal. Marcus Martin's going off to be replaced by Joe Broad. What a season Martin's had for Truro. He's scored some vital goals.

00:54 And that could have been another Weymouth goal. The visitors break quickly with Mudge, Martin tries to get back but he can't nick it off the striker's feet. The balls' played out wide and Beasley has a pop from just inside the box. Brooks gets down well, then Byereley fluffs the rebound. Lucky break for City.

Well that's just what the vistors were looking for. Two shots on goal, two goals. Danny Clay gives away a dodgy free kick wide on the right and Smith thumps it in low into the six yard box where it's glanced in past Tom Brooks. Game on again! Didn't catch the goalscorer - we'll try and clear that up for you in a minute or two.

GOAL WEYMOUTH!

00:45 And we're off, with Weymouth in claret and blue shooting towards the clubhouse end.

The teams are filtering out for the second half. Let's hope for more of the same.

HALF TIME: Over 1600 fans packed into Treyew Road this afternoon, and they're being treated to a bang on game of football with City playing some slick football. Weymouth have certainly played their part. They worked hard for the equaliser, and have looked sporadically dangerous going forward.

That said, the game should be out of sight by now. Truro have had four or five gilt-edged opportunities to increase their lead, but let's face it, with nothing to play for (at least from a home perspective) we just want to see a stonking game of football, and it's not disappointed so far.

00:45 Almost three for Truro, as Les Afful races onto a through ball and tries to loft a chip over Nortei. It bounces just wide with Ash inches away from tapping it in.

00:43 Great save James Nortei! Hayles rinses his marker wide on the right and plays the ball back for Andrew Taylor. He whips in a cross and there's Marcus Martin storming in with a header. It looks like it's destined for the back of the net, but Nortei leaps like a salmon and palms it over. Fantastic save.

00:40 Barry McConnell finds himself in acres of space thirty yards out. He advances on teh box, but rather than taking a shot elecst to chip the ball over Gerrine for Ash to chase. Keeper Nortei comes out well to smother it.

00:37 Good save Tom Brooks: that'll give him some confidence. Weymouth spread the ball around the box nicely, trying to fashion a yard of space. Mudge eventually takes a shot after the ball bobbles out to him on the right, but Brooks gets down well to make the save.

00:35 Weymouth's best move of the match results in a corner. Some nice passing between Mudge and Wolleaston releases Byerley, but he struggles to get a decent cross in. The corner's poor. Good spell from Weymouth at the moment.

00:32 Slightly ambitious, Barry? Well, he's had a great season, no doubt, but David Beckham he isn't. Hayles tries to lob the keeper from the half way line, but it drifts harmlessly wide. The fans at the clubhouse end love it.

00:29 Les Afful's having a great game so far. He's drifting across Weymouth's back four and causing them all kinds of problems. Weymouth's manager's just had a tlking to from the ref after some, shall we say colourful, language on the touchline.

00:25 Aaran Pugh with a wild lunge at Weymouth striker, Jamie Mudge. He's lucky to get away with a talking to.

00:21 My fingers are in serious danger of cramping up. A backpeddaling Barry Hayles just glanced an unsighted header fractionally over the bar from twelve yards out. Then moment later he launches a thunderbolt goalwards from thirty yards out that clips the top of the bar! Wow!

Afful's brought down oin the box by Ben Gerrine and the ref points to the spot. Up steps Scott Walker and he drives it past Nortei into the right hand corner. Truro back in front!

00:19 GOAL TRURO!

Lee Smith capitalises on a goalkeeping howler courtesy of Tom Brooks to spank a volley in from the edge of the six yard box. Brooks came to claim it after a cross into the box, only for the ball to bobble out of his gloves to Warren Byerley. His shot cannoned back off the bar and Smith thumped it in.

00:17 GOAL WEYMOUTH!

00:13 Tom Brooks show a bit of inexperience as Aaran Pugh tries to marshall the ball back to him. Brooks hoofs it out for a throw rather than diving to claim it. Throw comes to nothing though.

00:10 And another one. Afful's causing the visitors real problems with his pace down the flanks.

00:08 Truro starting much the brighter here. They look dangerous every time they go forward. Weymouth are trying to get a foothold on the game, but they're struggling at the moment. Another City corner.

00:06 Close! Taylor drifts a corner into the six yard box and Nortei flaps at it. No white shirts near it though. Could have been two.

Marcus Martin opens the scoring with a rocket from eight yards out after a cutback from that man, Barry Hayles! A perfect start for City - that's the first real attack of any note.

00:03 GOAL TRURO!

00:01 And we're off. Truro are shooting towards the clubhouse end. Weymouth fans making plenty of noise behind Tom Brooks' goal. They have a drum. And an alarming lack of rythmn, it seems.

right, to business, the teams take to the pitch and we're minutes away from kickoff. Weymouth will be going all out for a win - they're future in the Zamaretto Southern premier league depends on it. Truro, on the other hand, can afford to enjoy the occasion, but the home side will surely want to reward the support of their fans this season with a vintage performance and a few goals.

Vinny the tiger must be sweltering in the heat; he's been doing laps of the pitch waving to expectant fans. The Packet's sports editor, Simon Larkins, tells me he's friends with Vinny on Facebook, so perhaps he can ask him how it was later this afternoon.

Right then, we're nearing kick off and I'm playing spot the empty seat, which is a first. The two open-air stands opposite me are pretty much full. Teams about to make their way out. What a way to spend a bank holiday Monday if you're a City fan, eh.

So what about your choice for player of the season? I suppose the odds are on big Baz Hayles to scoop the award, but for what it's worth I'd go with Aaran Pugh: he's been a revelation at the back for Truro this season. Send us your choice via twitter @packetsport.

It really is a cracker of a day; No surprise the turnout's so high. There's already a party atmosphere here as City fans revel in the occasion. Conference football next season - would you credit it!

I think we're going to have the trophy presentation after the game - as well as the player of the season award - so it's worth sticking around once the full time whistle's gone and we'll try and keep you up to speed with what's going on.

It's a balmy April afternoon and punters are still pouring through the turnstiles here at Treyew Road to see Truro crowned champions of the Zamaretto Southern premier league. Visitors Weymouth still have plenty to play for: they desperately need a result to see them safe after suffering a ten point deduction earlier in the season. All in all, it should be a great afternoon's entertainment so stick with us!
