Perranwell lifted the Evely Cup today (Sunday) after beating St Dennis 2-1 at Kellaway Park, Helston.
Perranwell took the lead when St Dennis' captain Mark Rowe handled Dominic Pullen's goalbound header. The Saints player was sent off for the offence and Pullen converted the resulting penalty.
However, despite numerous chances to extend their lead, Perranwell were pegged back early on in the second half when Ryan Hayhurst headed in Lee Rickard right wing cross.
The winning goal was scored by Perranwell's Kevin Lawrence, with 18 minutes left, as he sent a right foot shot into the bottom corner of Brett Allen's goal.
