Falmouth Rugby Club’s plans for the new season were thrown into turmoil this week with the departure of their head coach David Rule.
Rule told, chairman Kim Conchie, of his decision to step down just days before the club starts its training for the new 2011/12 season.
The former Plymouth Albion coach has had two successful years in charge of Falmouth leading them from the bottom of the Cornwall and Devon league to a respectable sixth place finish last season.
However, due to family and work commitments he could no longer continue.
