Truro City chairman Kevin Heaney was delighted with the support his players received on Saturday when they beat Dover Athletic 1-0 at Treyew Road.

More than a 1,000 supporters came through the turnstyles to see Marcus Martin fire the winning goal early in the second half.

"It was a fantastic day on Saturday, seeing over 1,000 supporters come to cheer and roar our Tigers to an amazing victory against favourites Dover. What a day. That's 10 league wins in a row for our players and I am so proud of their continued Never Say Die attitude, despite us been depleted with players out through injury. "Our squad have shown true commitment to succeed. The togetherness and desire from everyone is there for all to see and witness. Rest assured we will do everything to keep it going on and off the park. I want Cornwall to embrace this moment in Cornish football sporting history and be part of it. Your continued fantastic support is our 12th Man. So let's make Cornwall proud together as One and All. See you all on Monday, August 29, 3pm at Treyew Road for Truro City versus Dorchester Town.
