Kerry Trevorrow and debutant, Amy Tatlow scored a brace each as Duchy cruised to a dominant 6-0 victory over a Mannamead III side, who posed little threat to the Cornish side from start to finish.

The deadlock was broken on 13 minutes when Amy Tatlow, signed from Falmouth, scored her first, sweeping home an Eva Everitt cross after Chessie Waters played a quality through ball from midfield, and two minutes later the Duchy forwards swapped roles as Tatlow crossed for Everitt to guide a reverse stick effort into the net for her fourth goal of the campaign.

Duchy continued to dominate and on 24 minutes Emma Harrison opened her account for the season with a neat finish from another Amy Tatlow cross to take the lead to 3-0.

Just before the half-hour mark Trevorrow notched up a fourth for the home side with a back post tap-in to cap an excellent first half.

Mannamead started the second half positively, and won a penalty corner within 30 seconds of the restart although Duchy quickly converted their defensive task into an attacking opportunity, with Heather Walker winning the ball at the top of the circle before setting up a counter attack.

Aside from the early second half chance for the visiting Plymouth side, Duchy were totally in control, and mid-way through the half the lead was extended to 5-0 as Tatlow picked up her second from a Trevorrow cross.

Then Duchy, and minutes from time, added a sixth when Perkin rounded of a scintillating team move with the simplest of crosses for Trevorrow to claim her fifth of the season and take the final score to 6-0.

The result elevates Duchy to third place in Trelawney Division 2, three points from top spot behind Bodmin and Plymouth University.
