Falmouth Athletic DC have been reinstated back into this season's Cornwall Senior Cup after St Agnes' expulsion from the competition was confirmed by the Cornwall County FA.

A statement from Cornwall County FA read: "St Agnes FC have been eliminated from the Westinsure Cornwall Senior Cup after allegations of misconduct by players from the club were proved."

"As the incident occurred before the First Round match, Falmouth Athletic have been reinstated and will now play Porthleven in Round 2."

It is believed the players stole some cups belonging to the Highwayman Pub in Dobwalls.

Dawn Aberdeen Cornwall FA Chief Executive, said: "We received complaints about the behaviour of some players from St Agnes away from the ground after their Preliminary Round match. The allegations of unauthorised removal of certain articles from a public house were proved. We take a very serious view on these matters and have removed the club from this year's and next year's competition."

St Agnes were also fined £200.
