St Agnes FC has launched an appeal with the Football Association following it's expulsion from this season's Cornwall Senior Cup.
The club was thrown out of the competition, and banned from next season's Cornwall Senior Cup, after allegations of misconduct by players from the club were proved.
It is alleged the players stole some cups from the Highwayman Inn in Dobwalls, on their way back from their preliminary round match with St Stephens Borough.
Falmouth Athletic DC, the side St Agnes beat in the first round, were going to be reinstated in time for Saturday's round two match against Porthleven.
However, a statement from Cornwall FA was released today, saying: "The Cornwall Senior Cup game Porthleven v Falmouth Athletic due to be played on Saturday 3rd December has been set aside pending the outcome of an appeal by St Agnes FC to The Football Association."
The Cornwall FA couldn't not confirm when the appeal will be resolved, but said it expects the matter to be dealt with before the Cornwall Senior Cup third round in January.
