Jolly’s Combination League side Troon could be suspended from all football if their outstanding fines to the Cornwall County Football Association are not paid.
The Packet has been told that Troon FC has a number of fines from disciplinary cases, some dating back a long way, which have not yet been paid. It was rumoured that the club faces suspension from all football this Thursday if an agreement is not reached.
A spokesman for Cornwall FA, said: “We are working with the club to try and help them clear this backlog. In fact, we hope the fines will be paid this week, thus avoiding the club being put into suspension.”
