Falmouth made the long trip to second placed Lydney as they resumed their West Premier 2 League fixtures.
After the journey Falmouth were slow to start and Lydney took good advantage of this and went a goal up after five minutes and then doubled their lead a few minutes later. Falmouth gradually worked their way back into the game and created some goal scoring opportunities but it was Lydney who added to their goal tally to make it 3-0 at half time.
Falmouth came out fighting to win every opportunity in the second half and pulled two goals back. Vic Pryor scoring the first from a Clare Hudson pass and then Clare finding the goal herself with the final touch on a Vic Pryor pass. Player-of-the-match Vic Pryor attacked strongly down the right wing and created other scoring chances but the final touch did not break through the home defence again.
As Falmouth pushed for the equaliser they over committed and conceded two further goals to bring the final score to 5-2.
