Steve Kimberley's position as chairman of Falmouth Town chairman remains in doubt after the club's board refused to clarify his role at the club.
It follows a turbulent end to the season for Falmouth Town which saw Falmouth Town AFC Ltd, the owners of Bickland Park, take over the running of the club to safeguard its future.
The club had got into some financial difficulties and the board said it needed to change the club's policy of bringing in higher paid players from further afield and concentrate on promoting the young local players.
Since that news broke in early May, Falmouth Town AFC Ltd have confirmed that managers Alan Carey (first team) and Paul Murray (reserves) would carry on in their roles at the club.
However, they did not comment on the positions of chairman Steve Kimberley and vice president Mike Varney.
The Packet contacted Falmouth Town AFC Ltd on Thursday to ask for clarification.
Falmouth Town FC's Board met at the weekend, but told the Packet there was no further comment to made at this time.
