Praze sweep to eight-wicket win against Wendron (From Falmouth Packet)

Praze swept to an eight wicket win at the Playing Field thanks to a fine partnership between Tom and Ben James.

Tom made 102 not out and Ben an unbeaten 32. This was after Grant Rowe went for 22 and Damian Lynes for seven. Liam Trathen and Craig Burley took the wickets.

Opener John Wearne made an undefeated 65 in the Wendron innings. Nick Tomba hit 20 but was out at 94 for five.

Andrew Mitchell joined Wearne to put on an unbroken 92 for the sixth wicket. Mitchell made 59 not out.

Lynes took two for 19 from twelve overs and there was one each for Josh Thomas, Ben James and Dan Eathorne. Wendron host Barripper on Saturday while Praze make the trip to st Newlyn East.

Wendron 186-5 (J Wearne 65no, A Mitchell 59no, N Tomba 20; D Lynes 2-19), Praze 188-2 (Tom James 102no, Ben James 32no, G Rowe 22). Praze (17 points) beat Wendron (five) by eight wickets.
