West Cornwall Pool League: Lizard FC open up eight-point gap with win over Killigrew

LIZARD FC opened up an eight point gap at the top of division one of the West Cornwall Summer Pool League after a 6-3 win over the Killigrew Inn last week.
Constantine SC A recovered from a 4-2 deficit to defeat second placed side Helston FC A 5-4, while Godolphin Club F gained a 6-3 win over their B side. Wins from Damian Jenkin, Justin Uren, J P Collins and Dean Williams helped the Harbour Inn to a 5-4 win over Helston FC B.
Godolphin Club D still lead division two, but had to work hard for a 5-4 win over their A team last week. A 7-2 win by Rosudgeon SC over Helston RBL E moved them into second spot and Mullion FC edged a 5-4 win over the Rodney Inn. Nick Butterill, Shane Orchard, Kevin Mitchell and Brian Hosken all won for Helston RBL D 5-4, three points separate the top five teams.
Seven Stars B lead division three after a 5-4 win over their A team last week. Wins from Nigel Reeves, Fred Rugg, Jon Debnam and Jon Filmer helped the Lion & Lamb to a 6-3 win over the Red Lion B and Constantine SC B had a 6-3 victory over second placed team, Queens Arms A. Rileys B defeated their C side 6-3.
