Truro City went down to a narrow defeat away at Basingstoke as they bid to get themselves into plus points in the Conference South having being deducted ten points for going into adminstration.
The news of the deduction came hours before kick-off and dropped Truro from sixth in the table to the bottom.
The match started badly for Truro as well as Delano Sam Yorke scored in the seventh and ninth minute to leave them with a mountain to climb.
Stewart Yetton did pull a goal back for City as he fired home following a free-kick into the box.
However, it was 3-1 at the break as Stefan Brown fed the ball to Wes Daly, who fired a shot past Tim Sandercombe.
Basingstoke were then reduced to ten men as Stuart Lake was sent-off.
Truro looked to be back in the match moments later as Kieffer Moore scored his second goal for the club.
However the Hampshire side hung on for the points, to leave Truro rooted to the foot of the table.
