Falmouth Town heavily beaten away at St Blazey
Falmouth had beaten St Blazey 8-1 away last season, but the Greens are a different side this campaign and went ahead with an early strike from Seb Bloomfield.
Lewis Coombes added a second and could have had another when he sent a free header just wide.
Former Falmouth Town player Josh Simms then forced visiting keeper Jason Chapman to make two fine saves.
Falmouth, who kept battling throughout, pulled a goal back as Rob Wearne tapped in from close range just before half-time.
However, the second half started perfectly for St Blazey with Coombes collecting the ball on the edge of the box, turning a defender and firing home from a tight angle.
Falmouth then pressed for a way back into the match, pushing St Blazey back into their own box. However, the home side weathered the storm and Simms broke away and smashed home a great slow effort to make it 4-1.
Bloomfield completed the scoring later on with another well placed low drive.
