Illogan RBL Reserves threatening to run away with Trelawny League championship already

Illogan RBL Reserves are threatening to run away with the Trelawny League premier division title already as they won their seventh game in a row to move eight points clear at the top of the table.
Illogan, who were Junior Cup finalists last season, beat Penzance Reserves 6-0 thanks to goals from Simon Carter (3), Allan Buckley and Jay Smith. An own goal completed the scoring.
Redruth United stayed second as they picked up a 1-1 draw at home to Perranwell Reserves.
Threemilestone picked up a good 2-0 win against Mawnan as they moved up to fourth in the table.
St Buryan, who started the season late, picked up their first victory of the campaign with a 7-0 win over Gwinear Churchtown.
St Agnes Reserves were also big winners, thrashing Gulval 8-2 away.
In division one, Stithians top the table after goals from Stuart Bush (2), Ben Cox and James Semmens saw them beat Rosudgeon 4-1 away.
Sennen are a point further back in second place, following their 3-0 win over Praze-an-Beeble.
Chacewater are third following a 6-2 win over St Just Reserves. Other division one results saw Halsetown beat St Day Reserves 3-2; Pool United lose 4-1 at home to Lizard Argyle and Newlyn Non-Athletico beat West Cornwall 2-0 away.
In division two, Titans top the table by a point following their 1-1 draw with Penryn Athletic IIIs. Chris Page was on target for Penryn from the penalty spot.
Frogpool/Cusgarne moved up to third place as they thrashed Cury 9-1. Ben Hocking hit a hat-trick, while Nick Lasseter, James Reburn, Neil Catrter, Shaun Smith and Kevin Goodland were also on target.
