Pool: Lizard FC A crowned champions of West Cornwall Summer League

Lizard FC A are the West Cornwall Summer League Division One champions.
Helston FC A travelled to the Lizard needing a 9-0 win to win the title, but despite winning 6-3 the Lizard gained the points they required to win by four points.
Mike Torr, Anthony Williams, Mark Thomas and Mark Jenkin all won on the night for the football club. Mark Jenkin achieved a fantastic feat of not losing a singles game all season winning 16 out of 16. Billy Orchard has been the only person to do this in the past when he won 22 out of 22 in the winter league.
The Bell Inn had a good finish to the season with a 7-2 win over Godolphin Club F, but the Godolphin Club F team still managed to hold onto third spot.
Godolphin Club D won the division two title by one point from Mullion FC.
The Godolphin Club travelled to the Red Lion needing a 7-2 win to win the title and after the first three games they trailed 2-1, but they held their nerve to win the remaining games and gained the points they required. Singles winners on the night were Charlie Farley, Martyn Jeffery, George Pattison and Ryan Yockney. Helston RFC trailed twice against Godolphin Club A but won 5-4.
Helston football Club A gained some consolation of narrowly missing out on the league by winning the team knockout. They defeated the Rodney 5-2 in the final with wins coming from Mark Jenkin, Mike Torr, Anthony Williams and Malcolm Fox. Mike Rustow and Anthony Dobb won their games for the Rodney.
