SCRUM-HALF Tom Kessell is due to make his 100th appearance for the Cornish Pirates on Sunday as Bedford Blues come to the Mennaye.
The 24-year-old will get the honour of leading the team out onto the pitch for the Greene King IPA Championship clash.
Kessell started playing rugby for Penzance & Newlyn RFC's minis and later returned to join the Pirates from Plymouth Albion in 2011.
The side he will lead out features three changes from last week's 21-13 defeat at Doncaster with Tom Riley, Alan Paver and Will Carrick Smith replacing Laurence May, Jack Andrew and Marcus Garratt.
A trip to the Mennaye has already been made by the Blues this season on October 12 in the British & Irish Cup.
On the day the Pirates scored a late try to win 35-34, but this was later reversed to a 34-28 victory to the visitors after it was deemed the hosts had breach a regulation on playing numbers.
Despite an appeal being submitted by the Pirates, the RFU upheld their decision.
