FALMOUTH TOWN 3

Bromley, Squires (pen), Wearne

IVYBRIDGE TOWN 1

Hanrahan (pen)

It wasn't pretty, but as Falmouth Town joint manager Robbie Stephens said, who cares. Victory at Bickland Park makes it two wins on the bounce for Town for the first time this season.

Sam Bromley opened the scoring for the home side in the eleventh minute, reacting quickest to a deflection from Rob Wearne's shot to stab the ball in from just outside the six yard box.

After that both sides struggled to fashion much in the way of goal scoring opportunities until the 71st minute when Richard Kellow was penalised for climbing and referee George Patterson pointed to the spot.

Todd Hanrahan stepped up to take the kick, but Ethan Fearn in the Falmouth goal saved brilliantly to his left, only for the linesman demand it be retaken. Hanrahan made no mistake at the second time of asking.

But two minutes later Town were back in the lead when Ross Pope's shot was handled by Ivybridge captain Stuart Morgan in the box. Glenn Squires rolled his penalty coolly down the middle.

Ivybridge pressed hard for an equaliser, but Falmouth striker Rob Wearne put the game to bed two minutes from time when he latched on to Dan Richardson's through ball before calmly slotting Town's third under Josh Zimmerman
