Mullion 7 Troon 0

Mullion took full advantage of other teams' stuttering starts to climb to the top of the table with a win at bottom-of-the-table Troon.

Alan Thomas got Mullion's first after the ball was parried straight back to him by the keeper, and Phil Cattran doubled their lead with a crisp strike. Joe Casley then showed a couple of superb touches to set himself up for a goal after being played in by Joe Lugg.

Mullion led by three when the whistle went, but were in no mood to take their foot off the gas.

Cattran soon got his second following a corner, and Ben Casley and Rob Carey both added their names to the scoresheet.

The final goal was notched by Ben Casley to round off Mullion's superb display, and fire them to the top of the table.

Penryn 0 St Ives 1

St Ives deservedly won a tight match against Penryn's second team, with Chris Goodall scoring the only goal of the match.

Penryn played with a young team they are in the process of rebuilding, and despite the loss are still well clear of the relegation zone.

St Ives played the better football throughout, and after just 10 minutes Chris Goodall scored with a well-placed header.

Penryn fought back well though, and Ross Symonds got through on goal his shot was saved by Matt Young. Shortly after Rhys Allen shot wide when well placed.

St Ives kept the ball better in the midfield areas, and in the second half Goodall controlled the ball with his chest before striking the post after a ball over the defence.

RNAS Culdrose 5 Porthleven 0

Culdrose, making just their second outing of the season, put five past Porthleven, with all the goals coming in the first half.

A late start to the season due to service leave has not hampered Culdrose's start, as they have collected four points from their first two games.

The game started at a frantic pace, with Cludrose ahead by three goals after just seven minutes.

Daniel Hindmarsh, who was superb throughout, made a great run down the left hand side and crossed in a ball that Porthleven's defender could only put into his own net to open the scoring.

Simon Wilson and Ricky Shivelock both then added to the scoring in quick succession.

Wilson had his second not long after, after poor defending from a Matthew Thirkle corner saw Martin Macbeath head the ball on for Wilson to finish.

Not to be outdone, Wilson's strike partner Shivelock added his second after some good interplay.

Redruth 1 Falmouth 2

Falmouth pulled off a well-deserved win over second-placed Redruth to end the host’s unbeaten start to the season.

The goals for the visitors came in each half, before Redruth managed a consolation goal.

Dominic Pullen cleverly played the ball on to Steve Winnan to open the scoring for the visitors in the first half, before claiming one for himself in the second with an excellent finish.

Redruth scored through Ben Beasley after some confusion among the Falmouth defenders.

Redruth slip down to third place, although they have a game in hand over leaders Mullion and second placed St Agnes, who lost against Ludgvan at the weekend.
