CULDROSE Lynx’s Under 11 team got their season under way on Sunday with a 5-1 loss at home to St Agnes.

Kieran Ludkin scored for Lynx in the first half as the teams went in at the break all square.

But St Agnes put in a dominant second half performance scoring four goals to take the game away from Lynx.

Despite the defeat, the home team’s manager George McVey said he pleased with the performance.

McVey said: “It gives us something to build on for the season and has identified areas for improvement within the team.”
