STABLEFORD was the format of choice last week at Budock Vean as three different competitions were played using the format.
Among the contests was the first round of the Winter League played on Sunday morning under warm autumn sunshine.
David Gudzij won with a score of 43 points while David Allen’s 39 was good enough for second spot ahead of Paul Upperton who scored 38.
On Wednesday, the club’s female members went out on the course for a competition won by Fay Joffe with a total 45.
Tricia Blatter was the runner-up with 43 while Jenny Wake claimed third place on countback from Lesley Upperton after both score 42.
Geoff Mills came out victorious last Tuesday when the seniors played their match.
He carded 47 beating Dennis McQuillan by two points, while Rob Bryant finished third with 42.
