A WIN away at Yeovil & Sherborne was recorded by Falmouth Hockey Club’s ladies team on Saturday.
Goals from Amy Tatlow, who scored twice, Viv Cobner and Claire Hudson helped the side bag a 4-3 victory on their travels.
Falmouth created some good early chances and Tatlow got her first after stopping her own penalty corner before slotting a shot through a field of home players.
Hudson then added her name to the scoresheet as she finished off a great move by her team as they passed it up the pitch before her strike flew into the roof of the net.
Yeovil pulled a goal back before half time before levelling matters up shortly after the restart.
However, the Tatlow sisters combined as Rachael rounded the goalkeeper before squaring the ball to Amy who promptly fired home.
Hannah Bowman was called into action in Falmouth’s goal as she saved a penalty flick before Yeovil did equalise again.
The visitors remained determined though and within ten seconds of the leveller, they regained the lead as Cobner sprinted into the box and scored.
