The winning Wendron School badminton team
BADMINTON players from Wendron School have won their way to represent Helston at a countywide competition.
The school’s Year 5 and 6 team, pictured left, came out on top of a regional contest held at Helston Community College.
They won all their games in the festival which featured six other schools with second place going to Halwin.
On November 21, Wendron will head to Penryn College for the event featuring other teams from across the Duchy.
