RUNNERS stepped onto the streets of Falmouth to participate in the Carrick Cracker race.

Organised by Jan Watson from Falmouth Road Runners, more than 100 people entered the event run over multi-terrain with three distance choices, 13km, 30km or 50km.

Weather conditions were cool and dry with athletes from across Cornwall taking part.

Podium places in the races were dominated by the host club with brother and sister team Ric Keefe and Emily Cooke finishing first out the men and women for the 50km course.

The top three finishers in over the 30km distance were Jay Longhorn, Robin Watson and Andy Pye while Paul Gwynne, Dave Capps and Andy Laurie claimed the podium places for the 13km.
