AFTER seeing all play wiped out by a waterlogged course the previous week, Budock Vean Golf Club members were able to head back out to play last Tuesday and Sunday.

The men went onto the course to play in the latest round of the Winter League with the senior players getting their clubs out first before the gentlemen entered the fray.

In first sessions, Colin Parsons came out on top scoring 43 points while club captain Paul Upperton bagged 44 in the next round on Sunday to win.

There was a familiar look to the runner-up spot as well with Charlie Averiss claiming it both times scoring 41 twice.

Stephen Crouch finished third in the seniors with a tally of 40, while 11-year-old Zack Cook completed the top three on Sunday with an outstanding 40.
