AS the halfway point of the Mining League Snooker season is reached, Godolphin Club find themselves six points behind the leaders STR Clinton.
This comes despite a wonderful 4-1 victory at home to Breage in the last set of games before Christmas.
However, their rivals at the top of Division One recorded a 5-0 success against Illogan HI A.
Their whitewash saw several good breaks made and a win claimed by Steve Downing over Anthony Curnow on the final black.
In Division Two, Porthleven fell to a 3-2 loss at Redruth B Rail and stay in second last place.
Stithians have put themselves into a good position in Division Three as they sit in third spot but with two games in hand over Radnor and St Day.
