UNFORTUNATELY the Monthly medal scheduled for Saturday had to be cancelled because of the weather at Falmouth Golf Club, writes Keith Rashleigh.
Conditions improved for Sunday though and the Mixed Greensomes took place with Ian "Henry" Churcher and Janice Binions showing everyone how it is done as they totalled a superb 45 Stableford points.
In fact they could have walked in early as the winning margin was eight points from Rachel Curnow and Tony Annear.
Finishing in third place were Jane Wooldridge and Rod Waistell 36, pushing Mary Bennetts and Gerry Storey into fourth on countback.
