SELECTORS have made three changes to the 26-man Cornwall Under 20s squad they will take up to Kent on Sunday.

The team are heading to Charlton Park for their crucial County Championship quarter final clash, having lost home advantage after being defeated by Devon on January 18.

Names coming in include hooker Locryn Williams, who join the Cornish Pirates last summer but has also been playing for Chinnor.

Also being brought into the squad are Wadebridge Camels winger Jake Woodward and Cardiff Metropolitan’s Connor Swan.

Keeping their places are Penryn’s Adam Hughes and Tony Pellow, Camborne’s Neil Stanleick and the six-strong group of Redruth players featuring Todd Prisk, Tommy Phillips, Dan Rutter, Tommy Southworth, Lewis Thomas and Adam Smith.

Coach Mike Rawlings said: “I know the whole squad were disappointed with their performance and the result against Devon.

“We welcome back into the 26 both Locryn Williams and Jake Woodward, who missed the last game due to injury.

“All the places in the starting 22 are up for grabs and it is up to the guys to prove their hunger to pull on the shirt.”
