Ben Ainslie lifting the America's Cup in 2013
SIR Ben Ainslie welcomed the Duchess of Cambridge to the base where he is setting up a British challenge for the iconic America's Cup in 2017.
The heavily pregnant Royal was shown around the site in Portsmouth, Hampshire, by Ainslie, who grew up in Restronguet, where she was updated on the progress of the Ben Ainslie Racing team's development.
She was met with those helped through the 1851 Trust, which aims to get young people into sailing and marine activity, with the Duchess, pictured below, also adding a bit of paint to a mural.
