DEFENDING champions Chris Timmins and Nigel Veal have made it to the Cornwall Pairs Snooker Championship final again.
The Godolphin Club duo won their semi final against Redruth Railway’s Ryan Curnow and Mike Jenkin 3-2 and will now face Alan Hurley and Phil Lane, of STR Clinton.
Their team could not repeat the trick in the five-a-side competition though as they fell to a 3-2 defeat against WH Bond in the semis.
In the Individual Over 45s Handicap Championship, Breage’s Roy Good progressed to the semi final stage after beating St Ives’ Vince Walker 3-1.
Geoff Hawken, of Bethel Social Club, will be his opponent in the last four.
