FINALISTS for this year’s Barry Mounter Trophy have been decided at Praa Sands.
The pairings of Joe Hill and Gary Peters and Andy Hurrell and Matt Tregenza won through their semi finals on Sunday to reach the last stage of the competition, which will take place on March 1.
Alongside the semis, a Stableford was also played with Ryan Semmens coming out on top with 38 points, beating Rodger Pearce and Phil Hales on countback.
Semmens also had success in the final of the Lawrie Fogg Knock-out competition as he claimed the crown with a 2&1 victory over Scott Willett.
In the Ladies’ Monthly Medal contest held on Saturday, Ann Seabrook topped the leaderboard with her score of 65 putting her four shots ahead of Judy Harris, who earlier in the week won a nine hole Stableford.
