WENDRON CC A moved back to the top of Division One of the West Cornwall Winter Pool League with a 9-0 whitewash against the Atlantic Inn A team.
They now have a 7 point lead over rivals Helston FC A in their search to reclaim the title.
Lizard FC A continue to stretch away from the pack in third spot after winning 8-1 against the Rodney Inn B team and Helston RBL A team won by the same amount against Constantine SC, while Godolphin Club F defeated the Rodney Inn A side 7-2.
Helston RFC A recovered from a 4-2 deficit to defeat Mullion FC A 5-4, with singles wins coming from John Curtis and Shane Orchard.
Godolphin Club B continue to lead Division Two as they won 5-4 against Paris A.
Their nearest two challengers played last week and Helston RBL B seemed to be heading for a big win against Wendron CC B winning five out of the six singles, but Wendron dug in to win all three doubles and limit the damage to a 5-4 loss.
Definitely result of the week must go to Helston FC B in Division Three as they defeated Potters Bar B, 8-1.
