A HIGH break of 86 by Phil Lane helped STR Clinton secure the Mining League Division One title again.
The player made the score, this season’s best in the league, in their 4-1 win at Playing Place B and he also hit another half century during the match.
It now means they cannot be caught even though there are two weeks to go in the season.
Godolphin Club remain in second place after a 5-0 whitewash over Playing Place A.
The champions of Divisions Two and Three have also been decided with Four Lanes and Stithians claiming the titles respectively.
