WILF Hutchinson managed to retain the Brian Wilson Trophy on Thursday at Mullion Golf Club with his playing partner John Turpin.
Senior members of the club contested the cup on a dry day which had a fresh breeze blowing over the course with the format being betterball three-quarters handicaps.
The duo of Hutchinson and Turpin finished their round with a score of 65, which just nicked them the trophy ahead of Brian Foley and Peter Norton who got 66 points.
Coming in third place were the team of Gary Howells and Chris Dale who also scored 66, but were beaten by Foley and Norton on countback.
