The new changing room
MEMBERS of Hayle and District Bowls Club are delighted with their new changing room after receiving funding worth £22,374.
The facility replaces a Portakabin and was built after the money was provided to the club through the Barclays Spaces for Sport scheme, which is also backed by the Football Foundation.
John Wallis, the club's treasurer, said: “Thanks to Barclays and the Football Foundation we now have these fantastic modern changing rooms, which will enable the club to continue to go from strength to strength.
"We hope that these improved facilities will continue to help increase our membership numbers."
