A WHITEWASH was recorded by Helston FC A as they got over their opening week defeat in the West Cornwall Summer Pool League.
The footballers put Helston RBL A to the sword with their 9-0 win which featured singles victories from Malcolm Fox, Dan Jenkin, Dave Fox, Pete Williams, Andy Bright and Anthony Williams, who also hit a eight ball clearance.
Lizard FC remain on top of Division One after beating the Lion & Lamb while wins were also picked up by Rodney Inn and Helston RFC A.
In Division Two, Godolphin Club E would have completed a whitewash themselves if they had not lost their first frame against Helston FC C.
Potters Bar recorded a 7-2 win over Helston RBL D and Helston RFC C fought back from 4-2 down to defeat Godolphin Club A 5-4.
The Boathouse stay in second place after beating the Seven Stars 6-3.
